While deciding which stocks to buy, look around and see what products and services you use, what are the things commonly being used by people, and which industries will benefit from this use. For example, I though ICICI Bank gave good service, so I bought its stock, Again, I liked Big Bazaar and bought into Pantaloon Retail. Both stocks have risen a lot since I bought them.
